AND THE WINNER IS…
The jack-o-lanterns have all been extinguished and the trick-or-treaters tucked safely in bed, their little limbs twitching from excitement and sugar overload. Thus we come to the end of the 1st Annual Coffin Hop. The whole affair was a roaring success, made possible by Axel Howerton and Julie Jansen, as well as 100 talented writers, publishers and artists in the horror field. I would like to thank them all and say it’s been a pleasure to meet and work with every one of them. But mostly, I would like to thank you, the readers, without whom, this would have been a pointless exercise. You are all rockstars in my book!
To give you an idea of the attention this blog hop generated, I can give you my own personal numbers. Over the last 7 days, I have received over 3,000 hits to my webpage with around 1,200 of them unique. I aquired 39 new subscribers to my blog, and made literally dozens of new friends. The organizers of the event have decided to make this an annual, if not bi-annual, occurance, and I greatly look forward to working with them again. The best news is that I have been recently bombarded by e-mails from Africa that offer me millions of dollars! Yay me! Looks like I’m about to be rich, suckas!
Okay! I have probably made you wait long enough. The winner of my contest, determined by a highly scientific process involving a bunch of tiny slips of paper and a mixing bowl is…….Jennifer Smith! Thank you so much for the support Jennifer. I will be sending out the big box-o-swag as soon as I hear back from you! I hope everyone else had as much fun as I did with the Coffin Hop, and I hope your Halloween was a fun and successful night 🙂 Only 364 more days until the next one. Now that’s scary…
Congrats, Jennifer!
Holy cow! I can’t believe I won… thank you so very much. I can’t wait to get the goodies.
The goodies will be in the mail within the hour! Thanks again for participating. 🙂
Congrats, jennifer!
Congrats to Jennifer. And love the pic of the kids (especially the werewolf!)
Thanks! The werewolf is my oldest daughter 😉
Congratulations Jennifer! C.W. it was such a pleasure to meet and enjoy these posts, as well as signup to follow some awesome authors. Thank you so much for taking part and allowing me the pleasure of meeting you. I look forward to following your journey. However, I must say I think I have you beat – I have been gifted with tons of monies from Africa, London, and China – even though I do not read Chinese I was still able to get the gist of how important it is for me to contact them and claim my lotsa-bucks. However, being independently wealthy (so NOT) I have decided to leave these alone LOL Next time I will share about the marriage proposals 🙂
It has been a pleasure meeting you as well, Denise. I must agree that you do have me beat-I am only being offered millions from Africa. But rest assured, as soon as I send Abu Murabi my social security number, account info and a current ID, I will throw us all a party with my 4.2 million dollars 🙂
Congrations Jennifer!
Congratulations Jennifer! Woo Hooo to Youuu. I had a great time hopping around and am also sad that we have a whole year until another one.
I’m not certain Gabrielle, but we may make this a bi-annual event 🙂 It’s up to Axel and Julie!
